Christmas Jumper Day 2019 - Save the Children

Following on from the success of last year’s Christmas Jumper Day, the UK CPM team took part in the national tradition in aid of Save The Children. All members of staff were urged to don their favourite festive sweaters in exchange for a small donation for the cause.

With an array of jumpers on show, particular highlights included a flashing Christmas tree along with a Rudolph onesie! All proceeds were counted at the end of the day, bringing the grand sum to £162.80

Time to Talk - Mind

Every year, UK CPM staff vote on which charities they would like to support during the year. In 2019, it was decided that mental health charity Mind would be one of the chosen charities.

Thursday 7th February was Time to Talk Day – a day when everyone is encouraged to have a conversation about mental health. UK CPM hosted a few activities on the day, inviting employees to wear casual clothes for a donation to Mind, as well as a company-wide bake sale!

Also, on the day, UK CPM launched their Employee Assistant Programme (EAP). This included a telephone service that put employees in contact with qualified therapists should they want to talk to a professional about their mental health – plus it provided a lot of information on mental health and wellbeing issues.

At the end of the event, the staff’s generous donations totalled to a fantastic £154 raised for Mind!
